Deputation of contractors meets Chief Minister, puts up demands | KNO

SRINAGAR, MARCH 06 (KNO) : A deputation of local contractors today met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and brought many of their issues into her notice. The contractors demanded release of their pending payments under NABARD and NRDWP projects.

They appreciated the Government for introduction of PAO system in the State to root out red tapism and chances of corruption while suggesting that this system be put to implementation after clearing the backlog of payments. The Chief Minister assured the deputation to look into their demands and take appropriate action on the same.(KNO)
